I had a delivery from Microsoft today - they delivered my very own Service Pack 1 for Vista.So today, I will be taking the plunge and installing it. I will keep you informed of my progress….wish me luck…

Ok - I have installed the service pack  and I am now officially running Vista SP1.

hmmmm…..now what ?????

I have noticed absolutely no difference what so ever so far and nothing jumps at me that I can say - “gee it was worth the install”.

maybe I will see things in a couple of days and as I start using more apps and peripherals etc.

In the mean time - the only thing I can say is that install took over 1 hour to complete the installation. During that time you can not use your pc. So make sure if it’s a laptop -that you are plugged in and that you have an alternative PC/ Email that you can carry on working.

Ok - so watch this space for Service Pack 1 information…
