Microsoft Outlook has a great facility that allows you to quickly access previously typed emails without having to look them up in your Contacts and without having outlook do a check-name. This is useful for those “one off” emails that you typed thinking “no point adding this email to my contacts, I will never use it again”
HOWEVER what happens if you typed the email address in wrong ? It will always bring up the wrong address and you are forever doomed into sending the email to the wrong address….
ok not really -
All you do is begin to type the email address and you will get a drop down list of the emails that matches what you are typing:
Simply use your arrow keys on your keyboard, highlight the email address that you want to delete and press the Delete button on your keyboard !
Simple but very irritating when you don’t know how
