In order to make Vista more friendly, its great that you are able to customise it to make it do what you want (well almost).
What I dont like is all those uncessary clicks of the mouse when you want to access your Documnet or your C: drive etc. So after a bit of playing around here are some Tips to access your documents faster.
Let start:
1. Right-click on the Start button and choose Properties

2. click on Customize …

3. You will see a list of items that you can customise for your Vista:
4. You can now select from the various options to make the Start Menu work for you.
You will notice that there are options that you can select which are Display a Link or Display as a Menu
If you choose “Display as a link” this is the result (default):

If you choose “Display as Menu” this is the result where you can expand your options:

5. Now to access your documnet faster with one click from the Menu, Find the option that is “Personal folder” and choose Display as a Menu

The result will be that the Documents option on the Start Menu will now show you all the subfolder and document !
Have a play with the various options. If you selected something and you dont like the result, go back and select a different option.
Well thats it for another Vista Tip from me.
