Here is another usefull tip when using Outlook 2007 – Have Replies Sent To
When we send an Email, there are times when we would like the reply of that email to go to more than just the sender.
For example: you might send an email asking for information but would like when the person replies that the reply goes back to you and to your marketing team as well.
Another example: if you send an email and would like the reply to go back to your regular work email address and to your Gmail account as well.
This is possible with Outlook 2007.
All you do is create a new email and address it as per normal, type the subject and body of the email.
Then click on Option and click on the Direct Replies To button
A window will pop up and a section called Have Replies Sent To will be visible with your default Email address. All you need to do now is add any other email address you with this reply to go to (or you select them from the Contact List/ Address book) . Remember to separate each address with a Semi-colon.
Click on Close and Send the Email.
the person receiving this email will see it coming from you but as soon as they click on Reply it will automatically put in the TO line the other people’s Email address you listed above !
This is a great little way to have information sent to more than one location.

is there any way to make replies to my outlook mail *always* go to another email address.
that is, the email i get through outlook is mostly garbage but i check periodically and i want all emails i send to go directly to my other email…..
thanks
paul

Hi Paul,
If you mean that you don’t want to even have Outlook open and get your mail on another account, then you need to get your Service Provider to set it up for you.
If you mean that you will still use your Outlook, all you do is make your email address the one that you want people to reply to (this is done in your outlook account setting).

Hi Steven lee,
In outlook you can change the From address too so it would appear that it is coming from another address.
All you do is click on Tools, Account Setting, Double click on the email account (in outlook 2007).
Here you will see a screen where you can put your Name, Email address, Mail servers etc.
Simply change the Email address to steve@homeimprovement.com (instead of your current one).
Click on Next and you are done !
Now every mail you send will appear to come from steve@homeimprovement.com
Note: when someone replies to your email, it will go to steve@homeimporvement.com – so make sure you check that mailbox too !
hope this helps !
